We’re currently hiring at our facility in Surrey BC!

This position offers you an opportunity to make meaningful decisions everyday that help push the business forward.

How you will make contributions that matter:

  • Book loads through various portals to ensure continuous operations.
  • Efficiently plan, schedule, and dispatch drivers in real-time through computer-based dispatch/satellite system for on-time pick-ups and deliveries.
  • Ensure driver's compliance with HOS and Safety regulations when dispatching.
  • Communicate any delays or potential service failures in a timely manner to impacted Operations team members, Customer Service Representatives
  • Proactively initiate discussions with Planners, Customer Service Representatives and other relevant operations members to trouble shoot current and potential operational challenges
  • Follow up and communicate with drivers to ensure all communication flows clearly.
  • Manage mechanical breakdowns by coordinating repairs, roadside assistance, towing, and customer updates.

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

This position is for you if you:

  • 2+ Years of Truck Dispatch experience is required.
  • Great communication both verbal and written
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Positive "Can Do" attitude
  • Experience with Transportation Management Software is a strong asset and will move candidate up for consideration
  • Handle high-stress environment
  • Handle mechanical breakdowns
