About Us:
P.Don Transfreight International Canada Inc. is a growing logistics company with strong roots in the international freight forwarding industry. Our headquarters has been operating in China for over 25 years, delivering comprehensive, reliable, and customized logistics solutions to global clients.
Established in Canada in 2021, our Canadian branch is expanding steadily and is now looking to hire experienced and motivated Logistics Operations Specialist to support our continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are looking to grow with the company and build a long-term career in logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute daily logistics operations, including ocean, air, and ground shipments
- Liaise with clients, carriers, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
- Prepare, verify, and maintain accurate shipping and documentation records (e.g., B/L, invoices, packing lists, etc.)
- Track and monitor shipments, proactively communicate with customers regarding delays or issues
- Assist in managing costs and improving operational efficiency
- Support the sales and remote teams in addressing customer needs and resolving service issues
- Perform other tasks as required by management to support business operations
Requirements:
- 2+ years of relevant experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations
- Strong understanding of international shipping procedures and documentation
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal); Mandarin Chinese is an asset for internal communication with HQ
- Strong attention to details and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); experience with logistics software is a plus
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a desire to grow and take on more responsibilities over time
