Looking to start a career and learn something new?
The Gear Centre Group of Companies is looking for a motivated Driver/Shipper/Receiver to join our West Edmonton team.
This is not just a warehouse job. This position is a great opportunity to learn the heavy-duty parts industry, gain hands-on experience, and grow into a Parts Person / Inside Sales role.
You will start by learning shipping, receiving, inventory, and product handling. As you gain experience, we will train you in parts identification, customer service, quoting, invoicing, and inside sales.
What You Will Do

  • Receive, organize, and put away parts
  • Delivering parts driving a 1/2 pick up truck
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders
  • Help with shipping, receiving, and customer pick-ups
  • Learn our products, systems, and inventory process
  • Support the parts and service teams
  • Train toward a Parts Person / Inside Sales role

What We Are Looking For

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Reliable and strong work ethic
  • Interest in automotive, trucks, equipment, or mechanical parts
  • Good computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Valid driver’s licence with an acceptable driver’s abstract

Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, parts, or customer service experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.
