Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled 3rd Year Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals progressing through their electrical apprenticeship to gain hands-on experience in industrial electrical systems. The ideal candidate will be committed to safety, eager to learn, and capable of supporting electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks within a dynamic construction or industrial environment.

Duties

  • Assist licensed electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems according to project specifications and safety standards.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate wiring and component placement.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and low voltage testing equipment to perform electrical work efficiently and safely.
  • Support the setup and disassembly of electrical components during construction or maintenance projects.
  • Help identify electrical issues by inspecting wiring, connections, and equipment for faults or hazards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.

Skills

  • Previous experience as a residential electrician or in electrical construction is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and low voltage testing devices.
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Basic understanding of low voltage systems and electrical codes relevant to industrial settings.
  • Construction experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with job site safety and procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour
