Job Summary

We are seeking skilled and dedicated Automotive Technicians to join our teams in Edmonton, Leduc and Athabasca. We are an award-winning, high-volume Ford stores with a strong family culture, a top-of-industry pay plan, and a rewarding bonus structure for hard work. This role requires a commitment to customer service and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough inspections and diagnostics on vehicles to identify mechanical issues.
  • Execute repairs on various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle’s condition and recommended services.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in the workshop environment.

Skills

  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for vehicle analysis.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex automotive problems.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair techniques and best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Certification from an accredited automotive program is a plus but not required.
