Reporting to the Campus Manager, Timmins, the Student Services Clerk will, as a front-line staff member, be responsible for supporting clients in the Student Services area; for phone, email and inperson enquiries (front desk and in office) and student registration; Providing information relating to all programs & services, collecting fees and registering clients.

What you will be doing:

  • Collect fees and register full-time and part-time students as per established procedures;
  • Provide in-person, phone services and respond to email enquiries to students and internal staff/faculty, including registrations;
  • Handle enquiries, correspond with students and ensure that requests for information are handled effectively and efficiently;
  • Assist students in setting up tuition payment plans for outstanding fees;
  • Complete necessary documentation for the ministry;
  • Process record of amendments;
  • Upload information and supporting documents into the electronic student files and ensure compliance for audit; and
  • Complete and reconcile student services day end postings

What you will need to be considered:

  • Two (2) year Diploma in office Administration, Business or a related/relevant field; and
  • Two (2) years of related office experience, preferably in an education setting.

The successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as computer software skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
