We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This role involves diagnosing issues, repairing vehicles, and performing routine inspections to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic schematics
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
• Utilize specialized equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and heavy machinery when necessary
• Conduct electrical system diagnostics and repairs, including wiring and sensor troubleshooting
• Operate industrial equipment safely and efficiently during repairs or maintenance tasks
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs
• Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle or equipment serviced
• Ensure all repairs comply with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly to clients

Experience

• Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance
• Dealership experience is preferred but not required; relevant hands-on experience is essential
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or farm machinery is advantageous
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, welding techniques, electrical systems, and industrial equipment is a plus
• Experience working with power tools, hand tools, schematics, and assembly processes
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills
• Customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively

Qualifications:

Certified Mechanic (preferred but not mandator)

Pay: $19.00-$40.00 per hour
