Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Massage Therapy Curriculum Developer to design and enhance educational programs for aspiring massage therapists. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in massage therapy, instructional design, and curriculum development, with a passion for advancing professional training standards. As a key contributor, you will develop engaging content, manage projects efficiently, and collaborate with educators to deliver comprehensive learning experiences that meet industry requirements.

Duties

  • Develop comprehensive massage therapy curricula that align with current industry standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Create engaging instructional materials utilizing tools such as Adobe Captivate and Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and pedagogical effectiveness.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and quality standards through effective project management practices.
  • Design interactive e-learning modules, assessments, and training resources to facilitate effective learning outcomes.
  • Incorporate best practices in instructional design and adult learning principles into course development.
  • Provide guidance on classroom activities, practical demonstrations, and presentation techniques for instructors.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to ensure curriculum updates reflect evolving industry trends and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in curriculum development within the health care or massage therapy field.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
  • Experience in project management, coordinating multiple tasks from conception to implementation.
  • Excellent writing skills for creating clear, detailed educational content and training materials.
  • Classroom teaching or practical training experience in massage therapy or related health care disciplines is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, industry professionals, and students.
