Full job description

We are seeking an experienced Terminal Manager to lead operations at our Ottawa terminal. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of terminal performance, including operations, staff management, customer service, compliance, and safety

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, coach, and manage terminal staff (dispatch, admin, drivers).
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring on-time service and efficient freight movement.
  • Manage cost control, productivity, and service quality.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
  • Track and report terminal performance metrics.
  • Support business growth and process improvement initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • 5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or freight management.
  • Leadership/management experience in a terminal or branch setting.
  • Strong knowledge of LTL, TL, intermodal, and freight operations.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
