Full job description
Tridon Communications is looking for skilled Fiber & Structured Cabling Technicians to join our Calgary team. You’ll install, repair, and maintain structured cabling and fiber optic systems for commercial, industrial, and temporary facilities — helping us deliver reliable, high-performance communication solutions across Western Canada.
What You’ll Do
-
Install, splice, and test structured cabling and fiber optic systems (Cat 5E, Cat 6, Cat 6A, Fiber).
-
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain communication circuits and cabling networks.
-
Read and interpret telecom drawings and specifications.
-
Work safely and efficiently on diverse projects — from office towers to industrial sites.
What You Bring
-
2+ years of fiber and/or structured cabling experience.
-
Knowledge of networking requirements and wiring standards.
-
Strong troubleshooting and client-facing skills.
-
Valid Alberta Class 5 License and a safety-first mindset.
-
Bonus: Manufacturer certifications (TE Connectivity, CommScope, Belden, Corning).
