Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator/Project Manager to join our team and drive the successful planning and execution of construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, managing project timelines, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Your expertise in construction estimating, project management, and pricing strategies will be vital to delivering high-quality results that exceed client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead projects from conception through completion while fostering a collaborative and energetic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive construction estimates utilizing industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather project requirements and negotiate terms that benefit all parties.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards.
• Coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing materials and services at competitive prices without compromising quality.
• Oversee bid preparation processes, including reviewing plans, specifications, and contract documents to produce detailed proposals.
• Monitor project progress through regular site visits, meetings, and reporting; address issues proactively to minimize delays or cost overruns.
• Maintain detailed records of all project documentation, including change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and cost tracking logs.

Experience

• Experience in civil construction estimating with a background in sewer and watermain construction projects across various municipalities.
• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency in industry-standard estimating.
• Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing and contractual terms with suppliers and clients.
• Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, costs, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Prior experience in construction pricing strategies and budget management is essential for success in this role. however youth willing to learn will be interviewed.

Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
