Role Overview

We are seeking a Program Manager & Engineering Liaison to bridge customer, supplier, commercial, and engineering activities while supporting business growth and project execution, including activities related to China and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate strategic programs supporting deployment of Ionada carbon capture systems.
  • Act as the primary liaison between customers, suppliers, business development, and engineering teams.
  • Support sales pursuits, customer engagement, technical presentations, and proposal development.
  • Translate customer requirements into actionable engineering specifications and priorities.
  • Coordinate supplier identification, qualification, development, and ongoing performance management.
  • Manage technical and commercial discussions with suppliers and customers.
  • Support product customization, implementation planning, and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate schedules, deliverables, risk management, and stakeholder communications.
  • Assist with establishment and management of operations, partnerships, and business infrastructure in China.
  • Travel regularly within Canada and internationally, including approximately six trips to China per year.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, engineering coordination, technical sales, project management, or a similar role.
  • Fluency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required, and experience working in or with China is considered a strong asset.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with international suppliers and customers.
  • Strong organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Carbon Capture, industrial process engineering and chemical processes are all considered assets
  • Willing and able to travel to China at least six times per year.
