Full job description

IC Group builds powerful digital engagement solutions that connect brands with people through promotions, live events, mobile messaging, and gamified experiences. We work with leading brands and event operators to create experiences that drive participation, loyalty, and measurable results.

Our teams are responsible for the secure delivery and execution of all client programs and projects. ICG aims to act as a trusted partner and strives to deepen client relationships based on trust, security, integrity, commitment, accountability, and delivery. We are continuously evolving our solutions and are further modernizing our IT practices through various initiatives, inclusive of use AI in strategic ways, and adopting a platform foundation.

Our Solutions & Delivery (S&D) team is responsible for the delivery and execution of all projects and client programs. The team acts as a trusted partner and strives to deepen client relationships based on trust, integrity, commitment, accountability and delivery. This team leads the delivery of solutions which drive strategic and long-term value internally and to our customers.

ICG has embraced an AI-assisted Development Lifecycle (AIDLC) approach, integrating AI tools into our delivery pipeline to accelerate throughput, improve quality, and support human accountability at every stage. Our Project Manager plays a central role in ensuring that Agile principles and AIDLC practices are reflected in how our teams plan, execute, and continuously improve.

Who Are We Looking For?

As a member of our Solutions & Delivery team, this Project Manager acts as a servant-leader and Agile practitioner, enabling teams to deliver consistently and improve continuously. You will facilitate delivery ceremonies, remove impediments, and coach team members on Agile ways of working — while keeping projects on track and stakeholders well-informed. You will also help embed AIDLC practices into day-to-day delivery, supporting teams in leveraging AI-assisted tooling responsibly and effectively.

Is This Role Right for You?

If you are someone with solid project management experience who leads by influence, champions Agile delivery, and knows how to get the best out of a team — this role will be great for you. If you have a “get it done” attitude while paying close attention to process health and team dynamics, and you’re energized by helping teams navigate ambiguity and embrace new ways of working, you are an ideal candidate. This role is unique and provides you with the chance to shape how delivery works at ICG, not just manage it.

Key Tasks:

Project / Program Management

  • Facilitate Agile delivery ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Manage internal and client projects through all phases of the delivery lifecycle with a focus on iterative, incremental delivery.
  • Maintain and refine the product backlog in collaboration with Product Owners, including backlog pruning, release planning, and operational support tracking for ICG platforms.
  • Identify, manage, and remove impediments that affect team velocity, quality, or delivery timelines.
  • Coach team members on Agile principles, practices, and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Report on project health, sprint metrics, delivery milestones, risks, and issues — communicating clearly to internal and client stakeholders.
  • Perform resource planning and coordination to maintain efficient, consistent delivery.
  • Manage risk through the entire solution lifecycle, escalating appropriately.
  • Contribute to process improvements, templates, and delivery standards across the PMO.
  • Liaise with key members of external groups and customer representatives.
  • Work with internal and external systems (for example: Jira, time tracking, helpdesk, sales management, and content management systems).
  • Serve as a first-line escalation point for client projects.

AIDLC Integration

  • Champion the adoption of ICG’s AI-assisted Development Lifecycle (AIDLC) framework within delivery teams.
  • Help teams incorporate AI-assisted tooling into sprint workflows while preserving human review, accountability, and quality standards.
  • Track and communicate AI involvement alongside traditional delivery metrics to provide a complete picture of team output.
  • Support Jira workflow configurations that meaningfully reflect AI-assisted work and human accountability.

Operations

  • Where projects are part of a larger program or portfolio, participate in priority setting and contribute to program-level status reporting.
  • Support sales activities by contributing to account strategy, capability discussions, and procedural improvements.
  • Ensure compliance and risk processes are followed as they relate to project and program delivery.
  • Work with teams to ensure quality standards are met and issues are addressed promptly.

Overall, Here’s What Our Successful Candidate Should Possess:

  • 2–5 years of experience in project management or Agile delivery, with a track record of successfully delivering projects through all phases of the lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams on iterative delivery practices.
  • Excellent communication skills — verbal, written, and presentation — for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence in a fast-paced team environment without relying on direct authority.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • The ability to effectively manage change, responding to evolving client and team needs while keeping delivery on track.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows or a genuine willingness to learn and champion them.
  • Meticulousness and attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritize workflow.
  • A “just get it done” attitude in solving issues beyond simply providing suggestions or assuming someone else will do it.
  • Willingness to learn new technology and related terminology.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude; able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, and professionally.

Great Assets to Have Would Be:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Experience in project management in an online or digital delivery environment.
  • Application experience: Jira or other Agile project scheduling software.
  • Experience working within or transitioning teams to an AI-assisted delivery model.
  • Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and how they are utilized to achieve specific outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 27001, GDPR, and PCI DSS.

Please note - This is an in-office role in our Winnipeg head-office. This is not a remote role.
