Full job description

On behalf of our client, Protrans Personnel Services is currently hiring Tea Packers for a full-time position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Join a team that values quality, safety, and teamwork.

Shift Schedule:
? Monday to Thursday | 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
As a Tea Packer, you will play an important role in ensuring products meet quality and food safety standards before reaching customers. Responsibilities include:
  • Inspecting finished tea packages to ensure they are properly sealed and free from defects
  • Verifying lot codes for accuracy and legibility
  • Packaging products into cases for storage and shipment
  • Setting aside damaged or questionable products for rework or disposal
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and obstruction-free work area
  • Following sanitation procedures and personal hygiene standards
  • Setting aside first and last cases of each SKU for quality assurance inspections
  • Monitoring metal detector performance and reporting any issues immediately
  • Inspecting packaging integrity and seal quality
  • Following all SQF (Safe Quality Food), WorkSafeNB, and company policies and procedures
  • Reporting any safety or food safety concerns and stopping production when necessary
  • Assisting with other duties as assigned

? Ability to work in a plant environment with consistent temperature and moderate noise levels
