Position Description

Lead and contribute to a variety of hydrogeological and environmental projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across diverse engineering divisions in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment. Apply advanced technical expertise in groundwater assessment, monitoring, and management, as well as contaminant hydrogeology, site characterization, and remediation support. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and quality oversight while guiding junior staff and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with professional and regulatory standards.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute hydrogeological investigations and program design.
  • Conduct site characterization, groundwater modeling, and data analysis to support environmental assessments and remediation projects.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and regulatory submissions.
  • Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and intermediate staff, fostering professional development.
  • Contribute to project planning, budgeting, and scheduling, ensuring alignment with client and regulatory requirements.
  • Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and client engagement.
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and company quality and safety systems.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise in hydrogeology, supported by a degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline, with registration as a Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) or Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) . The role requires 10+ years of relevant experience in groundwater assessment, monitoring, and management, including experience with site characterization, hydrogeology, and regulatory compliance. Candidates should be proficient with hydrogeological and environmental software and possess strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. Proven experience leading projects, mentoring technical staff, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams is essential.

This position is classified as full time. Rate of pay will be commensurate with related experience and qualifications ($108,160.00 per year +).
