Erin Mills Mazda is looking for an experienced and motivated New Car Sales Manager to join our leadership team.

As a leader of the sales department, the New Car Sales Manager is responsible for driving performance, developing people, and creating an exceptional customer experience. This individual will lead by example, inspire confidence within the team, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will be a strong coach, an effective communicator, and a process-driven leader who can balance achieving business objectives with building a positive team environment.


Job Duties

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with all dealership departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns that Sales Consultants are unable to rectify.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and training opportunities for the sales team.
  • Monitor sales activities and ensure all team members are following established sales processes and utilizing dealership tools effectively (e.g., 180).
  • Review inventory daily to ensure vehicles are merchandised appropriately and available for timely delivery.
  • Work closely with the General Manager to review monthly objectives, identify opportunities, and develop action plans to achieve dealership goals.
  • Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, engagement, and professional growth.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the sales floor and actively support the team in achieving success.

Successful Candidates Possess

  • Proven experience leading and developing a successful automotive sales team.
  • Valid OMVIC License.
  • Experience with 180 and DMS software.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to remain professional and composed in challenging situations.
  • Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
  • A collaborative leadership style that builds trust and respect across all departments.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to hold team members accountable while maintaining a positive and supportive culture.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and desire to achieve results.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
