  • Design and evaluate tailings storage facilities, waste rock dumps, and integrated water management systems with safety and sustainability at the forefront
  • Lead geotechnical and hydrogeological investigations to support critical project and business decisions
  • Provide strategic input into permitting, environmental planning, and risk management frameworks
  • Oversee projects from concept through execution, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across Canada and globally

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • 10–15 years of progressive experience in mine waste, tailings, or geotechnical engineering
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Geological Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada
  • Demonstrated expertise in tailings dam design, closure planning, and risk‑based decision‑making
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $135,200 – $179,100
MB & ON: $123,300 – $169,800
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $122,100 – $162,200
