Join a growing, supportive organization in a hands-on HR Coordinator role where you will take ownership of payroll and benefits while building broader HR experience across the employee lifecycle.

Who - the Company:

Our client is an established and growing BC-based manufacturing company with a collaborative, hands-on working environment. The organization offers a supportive culture with approachable management and values employees who are proactive, reliable and interested in continuing to develop their skills.

What - the Role:

As HR Coordinator, you will provide broad HR support with a key focus on payroll and benefits administration. Responsibilities include supporting bi-weekly payroll, reviewing time and attendance, processing payroll adjustments, ROEs, vacation and leave administration, year-end activities, payroll reporting and reconciliations, as well as supporting WCB and other payroll compliance requirements.
You will also support group benefits administration and renewals, employee records and HRIS administration, recruitment and onboarding, employee inquiries, HR reporting, compensation activities and health and safety initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the detail and structure of payroll and benefits while wanting to remain in a broad, hands-on HR role with continued opportunity to develop their HR expertise.
SWIM is happy to provide a detailed job description to interested candidates.

Who - the Candidate:

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented HR Coordinator with strong payroll and benefits experience. The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of full-cycle payroll experience and 3+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally gained within an in-house HR/payroll function supporting an operational or hourly employee population. Experience within manufacturing, food production, distribution or a similarly operational environment is considered an asset.
You have strong knowledge of BC Employment Standards and CRA payroll requirements, along with practical experience in payroll processing, time and attendance, payroll adjustments, vacation and leave administration, ROEs, year-end activities and reconciliations. A Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation, or active progress toward completion, is preferred. HRIS/payroll systems experience is required, with Dayforce considered an asset.
You are organized, accurate and discreet, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. You are proactive, collaborative and comfortable working closely with an HR leader while taking on greater responsibility and independence over time.

Where:

Langley, BC. This is a full-time, in-office position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Free onsite parking is available.

How Much:
