Full job description

ABOUT THE ROLE

WBM Technologies is seeking an experienced IT professional to join our Managed Services team. Supporting many of Western Canada’s leading organizations, you will be responsible for helping clients resolve technical issues and keeping their users productive.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, and working directly with clients. You will support a variety of technologies and environments while collaborating with a knowledgeable technical team committed to delivering an exceptional IT experience.

If you are passionate about technology, customer service, continuous learning, and being part of a team that celebrates success together, we want to hear from you.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for Managed Services clients.
  • Resolve escalated technical issues across Microsoft 365, networking, servers, virtualization, and end-user environments.
  • Work directly with clients to understand issues, communicate solutions, and get users back up and running quickly.
  • Investigate technical problems, identify root causes, and provide effective long-term solutions.
  • Collaborate with Service Desk and technical teams to manage escalations and maintain consistent service delivery.
  • Document solutions, processes, and technical information to strengthen knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Look for opportunities to improve processes and the overall client experience.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 5+ years of IT support experience, or 2+ years working within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Working knowledge of networking, server hardware, and virtualization technologies.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive, collaborative approach and a desire to continue learning and developing your technical skills.

PREFERRED, NOT REQUIRED

  • Previous experience working within an MSP environment.
  • Network+, Security+, or Server+ certifications.
  • Microsoft certifications such as MS-900 or AZ-900.
  • Additional technical certifications or relevant hands-on infrastructure experience.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Clients leave each interaction feeling supported and confident in the solution provided.
  • Technical issues are resolved efficiently with a focus on both the solution and the overall client experience.
  • Knowledge and solutions are clearly documented and shared to strengthen the team.
  • You contribute to a positive, collaborative environment while continuing to grow your technical skills.
