Position Title: Supply Chain Manager

Position Summary:

The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and optimize all aspects of the supply chain process – this includes procurement, crop planning, pricing strategy, logistics, inventory management, and customer fulfillment. This role will be responsible for ensuring efficient product flow, maintaining strong grower and supplier relationships, and supporting operational excellence across the business.

Duties & responsibilities:

· Assist in the overseeing of daily supply chain operations including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution

· Manage crop planning activities in collaboration with growers and procurement teams to align production with customer demand and seasonal programs

· Coordinate week-to-week crop movement and supply allocation to ensure efficient inventory flow and customer fulfillment

· Develop and manage pricing strategies based on market conditions, supply availability, customer demand, and margin objectives

· Maintain ongoing day-to-day communication with growers regarding pricing, production forecasts, harvest schedules, quality expectations, and supply availability

· Manage broker relationships and coordinate brokerage opportunities to support sales growth and supply continuity

· Monitor market conditions, industry trends, competitor activity, and customer pricing to maintain strong market awareness (“market pulse”)

· Communicate competitor activity, pricing trends, and market intelligence internally to support strategic decision-making

· Collaborate closely with sales teams to align supply plans, customer programs, and promotional activity

· Analyze inventory levels, product aging, and shrink to minimize waste and maximize efficiency

· Coordinate transportation scheduling and logistics planning with carriers and warehouse partners

· Ensure compliance with food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory standards

· Prepare reports related to pricing, inventory, crop forecasts, service levels, and operational performance

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain and operations functions

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Agriculture, Logistics, or a related field is preferred

· 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, produce operations, or logistics management

· Experience in fresh product, agriculture, food production, or distribution environments is preferred

· Strong understanding of produce markets, crop cycles, pricing dynamics, and supply planning is required

· Experience with ERP systems, inventory systems, and Microsoft Excel

· Willingness to travel to grower sites, customer meetings, store visits, and operations support is required

· There will be a 2week training period in Calgary upon hire, that is a requirement of employment

Pay: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
