  • Assist with preparation and review of structural drawings, specifications and BIM Revit models.
  • Review shop drawings, RFIs and contractor submissions.
  • Attend site reviews and document observations during construction.
  • Support senior engineers with renovation assessments, field investigations and construction administration.
  • Develop knowledge of applicable codes and standards, including BCBC, CSA O86, CSA S16, CSA A23.3 and NBCC.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited Canadian program.
  • Registered, or eligible to register, as an Engineer in Training with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
  • Relevant structural engineering experience.
  • Strong interest in building structural design.
  • Familiarity with structural analysis software and Revit or AutoCAD is an asset.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized, dependable, and able to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team.
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to attend project sites as required.

What We Offer

  • Mentorship and direct exposure to experienced structural engineers
  • Diverse building project experience and meaningful responsibility from the outset
  • Support toward professional registration and career development
  • Competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience
  • Collaborative, practical and team-oriented work environment
