Job Summary

Bryson Enterprise is a retail store in Groceries, Confectionary, Fast Food, Hardware and Lumber . Operating since 2013 in Fond Du Lac, Sk. We are seeking a versatile and reliable Clerk/Stocker/Food Service Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining product displays, ensuring shelves are stocked and organized, and providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual skills and experience in retail sales, food service are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and team communication. The Clerk/Stocker/Food Service Worker plays a vital role in creating an inviting shopping experience for our customers by maintaining a clean and well-stocked store.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with inquiries, product location, and purchases to ensure a positive shopping experience
  • Assist customers by answering questions, providing directions, and offering product recommendations
  • Receive and process incoming shipments of merchandise
  • Restock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are properly labeled and displayed according to company standards
  • Organize merchandise displays to maximize visual appeal and sales potential
  • Support merchandising efforts by setting up promotional displays and signage
  • Operate cash registers and handle cashiering duties accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness of the store, including sweeping/mopping the floor, cleaning shelves, work areas, and food service stations
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and facilities are in good condition
  • Food service operations by preparing and serving food while adhering to safety standards
  • Prepare food and snacks
  • Serve confectionary which includes deep fried food, pizza, cappuccino , slush, nachos and donuts.
  • Manage inventory levels by receiving deliveries, organizing stock, and conducting regular stock checks
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to management
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and improve store operations
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed in all aspects of stock/food handling and store maintenance

Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, stocking, or food service is preferred
  • Experience in preparing food
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Knowledge of merchandising techniques and store organization best practices
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining stock levels, store presentation and cleanliness
  • Capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and customers
  • Basic cleaning skills to ensure the store remains tidy and inviting
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude toward teamwork
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Location:

Fond Du Lac, Saskatchewan

Canada

Schedule:

  • 6-hour shifts Monday to Friday
  • 11-hour on a Saturday or Sunday
  • 6 days a week
  • 40hrs per week
  • One day off on Saturday or Sunday

Pay: From $2,600.00 per month

  • Retail sales: 2 years (preferred)
  • Cashiering: 2 years (preferred)
  • Computer skills: 2 years (preferred)
  • POS system skills: 2 years (preferred)
  • Stocking: 2 years (preferred)
  • Inventory management skills: 2 years (preferred)
  • Food handling: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Food Handler Certification (preferred)
