Company Overview
We are seeking a creative and driven full-time Social Media & Community Manager to join our Marketing team and serve as the voice of Atlas across all social media platforms. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & E-Commerce, this role will collaborate closely with the Marketing & E-Commerce team to manage and grow Atlas’s organic social presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other channels.
The Social Media & Community Manager will be responsible for creating engaging daily content, collaborating with influencers, vendor partners, and the in-store sales team, and actively engaging with online communities to grow brand awareness, strengthen customer relationships, and build brand loyalty. This role will also track and analyze social media performance while providing recommendations to enhance campaigns and optimize social media initiatives.
The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, content creation, and community building, with a strong ability to deliver high-quality work, develop innovative marketing strategies, and create meaningful customer experiences that strengthen the Atlas brand.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies and content plans that are aligned with business objectives to drive traffic, revenue, and overall brand growth.
- Create and manage engaging organic content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other social platforms, including videos, reels, stories, photography, and photoshoots.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing and E-Commerce teams to ensure all content aligns with the broader marketing strategy and promotional calendar.
- Monitor social media performance analytics and recommend paid amplification strategies to maximize reach and engagement with targeted audiences.
- Prepare performance reports, analyze campaign results, and provide actionable insights and recommendations that drive continuous improvement.
- Manage community engagement across all social channels by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, and timely delivery of all social media assets, ensuring accuracy, consistency and alignment with brand standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers, community members, and brand partners to increase brand awareness, deepen engagement, and grow revenue opportunities.
- Lead the concept development, production, and ongoing management of content from start to finish - video creation, editing and final execution - for our in-store media wall screens, including seasonal, promotional and event programming.
- Support the Marketing team in the creation and production of video and static assets for digital, social media, and promotional advertising campaigns.
- Manage and optimize LinkTree and all link-in-bio strategies to drive traffic, support campaigns, and ensure a seamless user experience across platforms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with customer service, product, retail, and other internal teams to support social-related initiatives and ensure a consistent brand experience at every touchpoint.
- Monitor emerging social media trends, platform algorithm updates, and cultural moments to keep Atlas's content strategy relevant, timely, and competitive.
- As part of a collaborative and dynamic team, contribute support across Marketing and E-Commerce functions as needed, stepping in to assist teammates and keep operations running smoothly during busy periods or when team coverage requires it.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- University degree or College Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Social Media, Graphic Design, Video Production or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in social media, content creation, and/or digital marketing, preferably within a retail brand or e-commerce environment.
- Thorough understanding of content marketing strategies and how they contribute to overall business objectives.
- Creative thinker who consistently brings fresh perspectives and innovative ideas, and proactively identifies opportunities to elevate the brand and improve existing strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to produce both short-form and long-form video content across all stages of production, from concept development and filming through editing and post-production, paired with strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
- Proven experience designing graphic assets for static and video-based creative content across social media, digital advertising, and marketing campaigns.
- Deep knowledge of current social media platforms, content marketing concepts, and industry best practices, with a commitment to staying ahead of trends and algorithm changes.
- Highly skilled in creative editing softwares such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Canva, TikTok & Capcut.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret social media performance metrics, extract meaningful insights, and translate data into actionable optimization strategies.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with experience using platforms such as Asana to manage content calendars, marketing initiatives, event coordination, and daily project deliverables.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines simultaneously, with flexibility to adapt quickly to shifting business priorities.
- Comfortable using AI tools and emerging technologies to support content creation, enhance data analysis, streamline workflows, and contribute to broader marketing initiatives.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to thoughtfully balance community needs with business objectives, maintaining a professional and empathetic brand voice at all times.
- Demonstrates a creative mindset, proposing initiatives or unique approaches toward improvements.
- Self-motivated and highly productive in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while consistently delivering high-quality results.
