General Manager — Overland Yukon
Location: Whitehorse, Yukon
Employment Type: Full-time

Overland Yukon is looking for an experienced General Manager to lead daily operations, fleet performance, team development, and business growth for our adventure vehicle rental company. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong financial acumen, operational judgment, and a customer-first mindset.

The job can be done remotely between October and May, it is preferable to be in Whitehorse between May and September.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee full P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and pricing strategy.
  • Manage fleet readiness, maintenance, cleanliness, and damage claims.
  • Lead reservations, dispatch, vehicle logistics, and daily branch operations.
  • Hire, train, coach, and evaluate staff.
  • Drive sales through upgrades, add-ons, and corporate accounts.
  • Resolve customer concerns and maintain high service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, licensing, insurance, and employment requirements.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of leadership or operations experience in rental, automotive, transportation, hospitality, or tourism.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and improve business performance.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
