Full job description

Key Account Manager, Alberta
C&T Beverage Co. | Calgary, AB | Full-time, Contract-to-Hire

About Us

C&T Beverage Co. delivers BC craft beverages across Western Canada. We're a fast-growing, entrepreneurial team looking for a Key Account Manager to lead our chain and key-account growth in Alberta.

The Role

This is a full-time position, structured as a 3–6 month contract-to-hire to start, with the goal of a permanent role for the right person. You'll sit on both sides of the table: opening and growing chain relationships in market, and working directly with our supplier partners on the pricing, marketing investment, and account strategy that make those relationships work. We're looking for a relationship-driven sales professional with a genuine interest in craft beverages, ready to build something real at a fast-growing company, with significant room to grow as our Alberta business scales.

What You'll Do

  • Identify, prioritize, and open new chain and key retail accounts across Alberta
  • Be a main point of contact with our supplier partners: pricing, marketing co-fund budgets, and chain-account strategy all run through this role
  • Manage draught, keg, and packaged placements across our portfolio
  • Negotiate listings directly with chain head offices
  • Track and report pipeline and account activity via CRM

What You Bring

  • Reside in or near Calgary, with a reliable late-model vehicle and clean driving abstract
  • 3+ years in beverage alcohol sales, ideally with chain or key account experience
  • A comprehensive understanding of craft beverage styles and trends, including beer, RTDs/cocktails, and beyond, with genuine interest in BC craft beverages
  • Comfort working independently and self-directed, with regular remote check-ins
  • Confident negotiation skills on both sides, with retail buyers and with supplier partners on pricing and program terms
  • Excellent communication, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency with CRM software, and comfort building reports and pricing sheets in Excel

Compensation & Benefits

  • CA$65,000–$80,000/yr base salary
  • Healthy uncapped commission on all chain account revenue, including immediate earnings from our existing chain relationships from day one, with real upside as you grow the book
  • Car allowance
  • Health spending account
  • Generous vacation time

How to Apply

Please submit a cover letter along with your resume. Serious inquiries only; no recruiters. While we appreciate all applicants taking the time to send us their information, only those deemed qualified for the role will be contacted for interviews. Thank you!
