About Topline Home Solutions

Topline Home Solutions is a fast growing home services company serving Calgary homeowners. We specialize in attic insulation, air sealing, mold removal, and GoNano shingle rejuvenation, a certified product line that restores and protects roofs without the cost of full replacement. Our Lead Generation team builds the pipeline. Our Home Energy & Roof Solutions Advisors turn that pipeline into results, one attic and one roof at a time.

The Role

As a Home Energy & Roof Solutions Advisor, you are the face of Topline inside the homeowner's home. Appointments are pre set by our Lead Generation Professionals, so your day is not spent prospecting. It is spent evaluating, educating, and closing. You will climb into attics, assess roof condition, diagnose energy loss and moisture risk, and translate what you find into a clear, professional presentation the homeowner can act on with confidence.

This is a consultative sales role built for someone who is equal parts technician and closer. You need to be comfortable on a ladder and in an attic, and just as comfortable at the kitchen table walking a family through pricing and next steps.

Key Responsibilities

— Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled in home appointments handed off by the Lead Generation team

— Conduct a thorough attic inspection, evaluating current insulation depth and R-value, air sealing gaps, ventilation, and any signs of moisture or mold

— Assess roof condition from the exterior and, where applicable, determine fit for GoNano NuRoof Fortify, NuRoof Revive, or Bio Boost based on roof age and condition

— Deliver a professional, confident presentation of findings using Topline's proposal and pricing tools

— Present pricing and financing options clearly, handle objections, and work to close the sale during the appointment

— Accurately log inspection findings, photos, proposals, and outcomes in Quote IQ

— Follow Topline's established presentation phases from warm arrival through the close, while adapting naturally to each homeowner

— Maintain a clean, professional appearance and represent the Topline brand with integrity in every home

— Communicate any warranty, scheduling, or install timeline questions clearly and honestly

— Provide feedback to leadership on lead quality, common objections, and field conditions to help refine scripts and process

What You Bring

— Strong in person sales or consultative closing experience, ideally in home services, roofing, insulation, solar, or a related field

— Comfort working in attics and on ladders, including confined spaces and varying temperatures

— Ability to read a space, build trust quickly, and present technical information in plain language

— A track record of closing, not just presenting

— Strong objection handling skills and the composure to work a room without being pushy

— Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

— Comfort using a CRM and mobile tools to log inspections and proposals in real time

— A professional presentation and genuine care for giving homeowners an honest recommendation

Nice to Have

— Background in roofing, insulation, home inspection, construction, or building science

— Familiarity with attic ventilation, R-value standards, or building code requirements

— Experience with financing conversations and higher ticket in home sales

COMPENSATION

This is a commission based role with strong earning potential tied directly to your close rate and average ticket size. Appointments are pre set, so your time in the field is focused on qualified, warm opportunities. Full compensation structure will be reviewed with candidates during the interview process.
