Shunt Driver & Yard Coordinator – Semi-Trailer Sales & Leasing

As a full-service dealership, we offer the sales, leasing, parts and service for new and used dry van, reefer and specialty trailers. About the Role

The AZ Shunt Driver & Yard Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the yard is well organized and that our service teams and sales department receive their trailers to the check-in/check out area in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the service team to ensure the timely execution of trailer moves
  • Perform shunting activities as required
  • Be an expert on the organizational layout of the yard
  • Check inbound and outbound trailers for damage or other concerns
  • Track location of inbound and outbound trailers
  • Yard maintenance as required
  • Other duties assigned by management

Skills

  • Valid AZ licence with 5+ years of work experience
  • Clean drivers abstract
  • Strong safety record free of accidents
  • A cooperative team player with a good work ethic and positive attitude
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to utilize electronic devices for paperwork or data entry
  • Ability to work independently and take direction from multiple leaders
