Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Waterloo Ford Lincoln, one of Edmonton’s most established and customer-focused automotive dealerships, is looking to add a dedicated Service Advisor to our team. Located in the heart of downtown, we take pride in offering exceptional service to our clients and maintaining the highest standards of quality and care. Looking for the right individual to join our growing team as a retail Service Advisor. We are looking for someone who will give our customers a 5 star experience while having fun and brings positive energy. Automotive experience is a must.

Job Duties:

  • Work with customers to understand their needs.
  • Work with customers to answer questions or concerns while selling the necessary work needed on their vehicle
  • Write repair orders, create and send estimates to your customers
  • Ensure that customer vehicles are adequately cared for and keep the customer updated on the progress of their repairs.
  • Complete a follow-up to ensure that customers have no additional questions about the repair of their vehicle.
  • Additional duties assigned.

About the Role

As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for maintenance and repairs. You’ll provide expert guidance, ensure clear communication between customers and our technicians, and deliver a first-class experience from intake to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Understand vehicle concerns and accurately document customer needs
  • Provide repair estimates, explain services, and obtain proper approvals
  • Coordinate with technicians and service management to ensure timely work completion
  • Communicate repair status, timelines, and recommendations throughout the process
  • Build trust with customers by offering transparent and knowledgeable guidance
  • Assist with scheduling, invoicing, warranty requirements, and customer follow-up
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient service environment

Successful Candidates Possess:

  • Ability to work in a team and possesses strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and high attention to detail.
  • Loves a fast pace environment.
  • Computer skills and understanding of technology.
  • Experience with CDK software is considered an asset.
  • 2 years in the automotive industry/dealership service department

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in automotive customer service (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in a way customers can understand
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks at once
  • A positive attitude and commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
