Full job description

Come join our small team in Function Junction! We’re looking for a Casual Taphouse Server/Bartender. We're looking for outgoing personality, someone who can work at a fast pace, work well on a team and individually. The person must be reliable and on time. Our ideal candidate must have minimum of 3 years serving experience, Serving it Right certificate and be the age of majority.

Shifts: Every Friday and Saturday afternoon - start time either 2pm or 4pm- 10pm approx.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure customers receive exceptional service and attention through; greeting, serving, bartending, suggestive selling, filling growlers, upselling merchandise and retail.
  • Adhere to all company policies & procedures
  • Be reliable, punctual & ready to open/close the doors on time
  • Set atmosphere to upbeat & inviting vibe
  • Complete an accurate daily cash out
  • Empty recycling & garbage
  • Answer the phone
  • Maintain cleanliness of the Taphouse
  • Change kegs as required
  • Ensuring the establishment is locked and alarmed at end of each day

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3 years min. Serving experience in a high-volume Hospitality environment
  • Able to work independently and on a team
  • Able to complete task in a timely manner unsupervised
  • Confident problem solver
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid Serving It Right
  • Age of majority
  • Valid work permit
  • Secured Housing in Whistler *NO STAFF ACCOMODATION AVAILABLE
