Position Overview

Are you a detail-oriented, process-driven tester who takes pride in shipping reliable software? Explorer Software is looking for a skilled QA Analyst to join our fully remote DevOps team. As our QA Analyst, you’ll establish, manage, and execute the quality assurance processes for Eclipse, our construction accounting ERP platform. You’ll lead the implementation and administration of Testim, building and maintaining an automated testing framework that strengthens software quality, system reliability, and release confidence. Working closely with our DevOps teams, you’ll validate new features, enhancements, integrations, and defect resolutions before they reach customers. This role is all about creating repeatable testing processes, expanding automation coverage, and ensuring every software change meets our quality standards — all within a collaborative, fully remote environment.

Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and administration of Testim for Eclipse
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites for Eclipse ERP applications
  • Create, execute, and document test plans, test cases, and testing procedures
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
  • Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to ensure software quality
  • Validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes prior to release
  • Coordinate testing efforts for customer-specific projects and development initiatives
  • Provide testing status updates, metrics, and recommendations to management
  • Help establish and improve QA processes, standards, and testing best practices

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or application support
  • Degree, diploma, or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, or a related field
  • Experience with Testim automated testing software
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices
  • Ability to create, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases
  • Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have:

  • Experience implementing and administering Testim or similar automated testing platforms
  • Experience testing ERP accounting and/or enterprise business applications
  • Experience with automated, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles and Agile development practices
  • Experience working directly with software development teams
  • Experience validating SQL-based applications and data integrity
  • Experience working in a customer-focused software environment
