Full job description

Job Summary

THM Technical Services is seeking journeyperson Steamfitter-Pipefitter contractors with their own truck and tools for small mechanical jobs across Alberta.

We’re looking for experienced contractors who can work independently, coordinate with site contacts, and deliver safe, quality workmanship..

Duties

Assignments will involve small mechanical and piping jobs, with the scope, location, schedule, and commercial terms confirmed before work begins.

Contractors will be expected to:

  • Complete assigned piping and mechanical work within the agreed scope
  • Supply their own truck and tools suitable for the assignment
  • Follow applicable site safety and quality requirements
  • Communicate progress, material needs, and issues affecting the work
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work and hours

Required Qualifications

  • Alberta Journeyperson Steamfitter-Pipefitter certificate, or a certificate from another province with a Red Seal endorsement
  • Own truck and tools
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Active WCB Alberta account and current clearance letter
  • Commercial general liability insurance
  • Willingness to travel across Alberta
  • Ability to complete assigned work independently

Rates, truck and tool compensation, travel arrangements, and applicable allowances will be agreed upon before each assignment.
