The Opportunity
Park View Homes is looking for an experienced Operations & Sales Director to take ownership of the overall performance of our Operations and Sales functions.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who can connect people, sales, operations, processes, and business performance to help drive the next stage of Park View Homes' growth.
The Operations & Sales Director will lead and hold the Operations and Sales teams accountable while ensuring strong alignment across Production, Scheduling, Estimating, Purchasing, Pre-Construction, Warranty, Health & Safety, and related functions.
The objective is simple:
Sell homes effectively. Deliver what we promise. Build a stronger, more scalable business.
The role combines two key seats on our Accountability Chart — Sales Manager and Operations Manager — into one senior leadership mandate.
This position is also designed as a precursor to a COO role, creating an opportunity for the right leader to take on increasing responsibility as the company continues to grow.
What You'll Own
➔ Leadership, Management & Accountability (LMA) — Leads, develops, and holds the Operations team accountable, ensuring the right people are in the right seats with clear expectations and strong performance.
➔ Operational Performance — Owns overall department performance to ensure homes are delivered on time, on budget, and to company standards.
➔ Department Planning & Coordination — Ensures Production, Scheduling, Estimating, Purchasing, Pre-Construction, Warranty, and related functions are aligned and working together effectively.
➔ Operational Systems & Continuous Improvement — Develops and improves processes, systems, standards, and tools that make the department more consistent, efficient, and scalable.
➔ Resource & Capacity Management — Ensures the department has the people, trade capacity, resources, and support required to execute the construction plan successfully.
➔ Health & Safety — Ensures an effective Health & Safety program is in place and consistently followed across the department, maintaining compliance, training, accountability, and safe operations.
➔ Sales Performance & Results — Owns overall sales results across all communities—driving traffic conversion, managing pipeline health, and ensuring sales targets are consistently met or exceeded.
➔ Sales Process & Conversion — Ensures a consistent, high-performing sales process with strong lead follow-up and closing.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a strategic, business-minded leader who can operate at a senior level while remaining connected to the day-to-day realities of the business.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Operations related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in operations management. Manufacturing or commercial construction experience is a plus.
- Proven track record of managing multiple departments including sales and large-scale projects on time, on budget.
- Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with AI and project management tools and software.
Experience in residential construction, homebuilding, manufacturing, or commercial construction is an asset. We are also open to strong senior leaders from other industries who can demonstrate highly transferable leadership, operational, and sales experience.
The Person We're Looking For
You are someone who:
- Thinks strategically but is comfortable getting into the details when necessary.
- Leads through people rather than trying to do everything yourself.
- Sets clear expectations and follows through on accountability.
- Makes decisions based on data, facts, and business priorities.
- Can have difficult conversations when necessary.
- Builds strong relationships across departments.
- Looks for the root cause rather than repeatedly fixing the same problem.
- Is comfortable challenging the status quo.
- Can balance growth with operational capacity.
- Takes ownership when things don't go as planned.
- Is motivated by building teams, improving systems, and creating measurable results.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means:
- Sales consistently meets or exceeds targets.
- Qualified opportunities are effectively converted into sales.
- Sales and Operations are aligned around realistic commitments and priorities.
- Homes are delivered on time, on budget, and to Park View Homes' quality standards.
- Teams have clear ownership, expectations, and accountability.
- Operational bottlenecks are identified and addressed proactively.
- Processes and systems become more efficient and scalable.
- Leadership has better visibility into business performance and priorities.
- The organization is better positioned for continued growth.
Location & Work Environment
This is an in-person leadership position based at the Park View Homes office in North Gower, Ontario.
The successful candidate will also maintain a regular presence across Park View Homes communities, construction sites, and other company locations.
This is a visible leadership role that requires regular interaction with both office and field teams.
Why Join Park View Homes?
This is an opportunity to have a direct and meaningful impact on a growing homebuilding company.
You'll work closely with the CEO and leadership team, influence how the organization operates, develop people and systems, and help shape the next stage of the company's growth.
For the right person, this isn't simply the next step in a career — it's an opportunity to build something, lead something, and grow into something bigger.
If you're an experienced leader who sees opportunities where others see problems, enjoys bringing people and departments together, and is ready for a role with significant responsibility and future growth, we'd like to hear from you.
