Seasonal Customer Service Representative

Budget Car & Truck Rental (Devon Transport Ltd.) – Tofino, BC

About the Role

Budget Car & Truck Rental is seeking a Seasonal Customer Service Representative to join our team in Tofino, BC for the busy tourism season. This position runs approximately May through September/October and is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment in one of British Columbia’s most popular summer destinations.

As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you will play a key role in ensuring visitors to Tofino have a smooth and positive rental experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with vehicle reservations, check-outs, and returns
  • Process rental agreements and payments
  • Provide helpful local recommendations and information to visitors
  • Clean, fuel, and prepare vehicles for rental
  • Inspect vehicles for damage and ensure fleet readiness
  • Perform general administrative and operational tasks
  • Work collaboratively with team members to keep operations running smoothly

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
  • Organized and reliable with the ability to multitask
  • Comfortable working weekends and holidays during peak season
  • Previous tourism, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset

Compensation & Benefits

  • $19.00 – $21.00 per hour
  • Commission opportunities

Work Environment

This role operates in a fast-paced tourism environment during the busy summer season in Tofino. Teamwork, flexibility, and strong customer service are essential.

Housing

Please note housing is not provided, and candidates must arrange their own accommodation in the Tofino area.
