About Hudson College

Hudson College is a co-educational, JK–Grade 12 private school located in Toronto’s St. Clair West neighbourhood. With 440 students, we believe in one thing above all: be yourself. Our friendly community celebrates individual strengths, sparks curiosity, and supports personal growth for every student.

The Opportunity — High School Computer Science and Mathematics Teacher

Start date: September 8, 2026 · Status: Full-time, Upper School

Teach where it matters: in our close-knit, academically driven high school, you’ll lead classes averaging 15 students, design your own units and inquiry labs with state-of-the-art resources, see good ideas adopted swiftly, step into leadership roles early, enjoy robust professional-development support, and still keep a healthy work-life balance.

Why You’ll Love Teaching at Hudson College

  • Small classes — classes average 15 students, letting you build meaningful connections and maximize learning time.
  • Respectful, motivated learners — discipline issues are uncommon and addressed promptly.
  • Creative autonomy — freedom to design engaging lessons and see good ideas adopted within weeks.
  • State-of-the-art labs & technology — modern resources support deeper scientific exploration.
  • Early leadership opportunities — step into department‐level, club, or initiative leadership roles sooner than at larger schools.
  • Generous PD & mentorship — a strong professional-development budget and peer mentoring accelerate your growth.
  • Excellent work–life balance — realistic workload and supportive policies
  • Inclusive, down-to-earth culture — just good people doing meaningful work; collaboration is real and your contributions count.

What We’re Looking For:

  • OCT certification (or a valid teaching certificate from another Canadian province)
  • Demonstrated success teaching high school-level Computer Science and Mathematics.
  • Experience teaching other STEM-related courses would be considered an asset.
  • A passion for ongoing professional learning.
  • A willingness to contribute to school life (clubs, athletics, enrichment).
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

How to Apply

Please send us your resume and a cover letter explaining your teaching philosophy, key experiences, and why Hudson College is the right fit for you.

Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.

We look forward to welcoming our next great teacher!
