Full job description

Position Overview

We are seeking three reliable and safety-focused Labor and Material Handlers to join our team in a fast-paced industrial coating facility.

  • 2 positions on our Day Shift (Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
  • 1 positions on our Weekend Shift (Friday – Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM)

This is an entry-level contract opportunity with hands-on training provided. Ideal for individuals looking to gain experience, work with a strong team, and potentially grow into a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stage, handle, and move materials to support production flow.
  • Follow company policies and safety procedures at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation.
  • Support team leads, supervisors, and other departments as needed.
  • Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and updates.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe work environment alongside our Occupational Health Committee (OHC).

Tools & Equipment You’ll Use

  • Safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe work boots (PPE provided as required).
  • Knives, pliers, compressed air tools.
  • Grinders, sanders, pallet jacks (manual and powered).
  • Hanging systems, hooks, chains, and hoists.
  • Burn-off oven and banding equipment.

Training & Growth Opportunities

  • WHMIS Certification.
  • Forklift Certification.
  • Fall Protection Awareness.
  • On-the-job training in powder coating and industrial processes.
  • Opportunities to grow into specialized or leadership positions.

Schedule & Openings

  • Weekend Shift (1 openings): Friday – Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
