We are seeking a VP Retail Sales-IT Consulting to lead and grow our Retail and Distribution verticals. This role will have a heavy focus on selling and prospecting new clients.
You will focus on expanding client relationships, driving new business opportunities, and delivering solutions that create meaningful impact. You will collaborate with clients, partners, and internal teams to shape strategies, solve complex challenges, and support transformation across the retail and distribution landscape.
This is an opportunity for an experienced consulting leader who values collaboration, client success, and continuous growth.
Your future duties and responsibilities
. Business Growth: Identify and develop new opportunities through a consultative and insights-driven approach
. Market Expansion: Lead growth across target accounts, introducing solutions that meet evolving client and market needs
. Partnership Development: Strengthen relationships with strategic partners to co-create and deliver effective solutions
. Go-to-Market Leadership: Shape and execute market strategies that align with client goals and emerging trends
. Financial Accountability: Achieve revenue, growth, and profitability objectives through disciplined business management
. Client Delivery: Ensure delivery excellence and client satisfaction across all engagements
. Governance and Risk Management: Support contract negotiations and maintain compliance with governance standards
. Team Collaboration: Foster a culture of trust, inclusion, and collaboration across teams and geographies
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
. Experience: 10–15+ years of progressive leadership experience in consulting or professional services, with demonstrated success in driving client growth and satisfaction
. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Retail and Distribution sector within Ontario, including key trends and priorities
. Sales and Delivery Expertise: Proven ability to sell and deliver complex IT and Business Process Services (BPS) solutions
. Experience engaging with senior leaders and decision-makers in client organizations
. Strong negotiation skills with experience closing high-value deals
. Relationship Building & Stakeholder Management
