Fonthealth is a multidisciplinary hormone and metabolic health clinic located in Fonthill, Ontario, providing individualized care programs for members managing perimenopause, menopause, PCOS and insulin resistance, thyroid dysfunction, testosterone deficiency, and GLP-1 therapy-assisted weight management.

We are seeking a qualified Nutritionist to join our clinical team on a full-time permanent basis.

About the Role

The Nutritionist will work as an active member of our interdisciplinary team alongside nurse practitioners and registered nurses. This is a clinical role requiring advanced knowledge of therapeutic nutrition, metabolic health, and patient-centred care.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nutrition care plans for patients managing perimenopause, menopause, PCOS, insulin resistance, thyroid dysfunction, testosterone deficiency, and GLP-1 therapy

Evaluate the nutritional status of patients using body composition assessments, laboratory results, and clinical interviews

Determine and monitor patients' therapeutic dietary needs as part of an interdisciplinary clinical team

Develop and maintain evidence-based nutrition protocols for each patient population served by the clinic

Plan, develop, and deliver nutrition education programs for individual patients and clinic populations

Create patient-facing nutrition resources including guides, meal plans, and educational materials

Analyze current nutritional science and peer-reviewed research to continuously improve clinical recommendations

Provide nutrition consultation and guidance to nurse practitioners and registered nurses on therapeutic dietary strategies

Confer with health professionals regarding nutrition interpretation, intervention, and care plan integration

Aid in the prevention of inadequate nutrition across the clinic's patient population

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Health Sciences, or a related field

Minimum 1 year to less than 2 years of clinical or healthcare nutrition experience

Strong knowledge of hormonal and metabolic health conditions

Experience with GLP-1 therapy nutrition support is an asset

Excellent communication skills in English

Portuguese and/or Spanish language skills are an asset

Ability to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary clinical environment

$43.65 per hour

30 hours per week, permanent full-time position
