Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Drain Camera Technician/ Supervisor to join our team. This role involves using specialized inspection camera equipment to assess the condition of sewer and drainage systems. The ideal candidate will have experience operating camera inspection systems, diagnosing pipeline issues, and providing accurate reports for plumbing and repair teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate drain and sewer inspection cameras to locate blockages, leaks, and pipe damage.
  • Navigate camera equipment through residential drainage systems.
  • Record, analyze, and document video footage to identify issues such as cracks, shifting, root intrusion, or buildup.
  • Generate detailed reports with findings and recommendations for repairs or maintenance.
  • Communicate inspection results to customers in a clear and professional manner.
  • Maintain camera equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow safety protocols when working in confined spaces and hazardous environments.
  • Assist with minor drain cleaning, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience operating drain/sewer camera inspection equipment.
  • Knowledge of plumbing and drainage systems, including common issues and solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift and maneuver equipment and handle tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document findings accurately.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a drain camera technician, plumber, or related role.
  • Familiarity with inspection equipment.
