About Mechnician

Mechnician is a rapidly growing industrial technology and service company helping mechanics, service teams and equipment owners keep critical equipment running.

We provide advanced diagnostic tools, technical information, expert support and training across construction, agriculture, commercial vehicles, material handling and marine.

Mechnician serves hundreds of customers across Canada, the United States and international markets. As we continue to grow, we are building a stronger marketing function to sharpen our brand, improve our buyer journeys, generate qualified opportunities and grow revenue.

We are looking for a hands-on Brand & Campaign Manager who can turn customer insight, company priorities and market opportunities into clear messaging and effective campaigns.

The Role

This is a working-manager role combining strategy, creativity, technology and hands-on execution.

You will work closely with the CEO and collaborate with Sales, Client Services, Customer Support and technical experts. You will help determine which audiences and opportunities deserve attention, build campaigns around them and measure their contribution to pipeline and revenue.

You should be comfortable moving between strategy and execution—whether that means interviewing a customer, developing an offer, writing campaign copy, building a HubSpot workflow, briefing a designer or reviewing conversion data.

This is not a role for someone who only prepares strategy presentations, manages agencies or waits for others to execute.

The Marketing Team

You will coordinate a small, distributed team and specialist partners supporting:

  • Events and organic social media
  • Graphic design
  • Video production
  • Paid media

You will establish priorities, create clear briefs, provide direction and ensure that individual marketing activities work together as coordinated campaigns.

What You Will OwnBrand and buyer journeys

  • Build and improve buyer journeys for our priority industries, audiences and markets.
  • Develop clear positioning, messaging and offers based on customer needs, sales conversations and market insight.
  • Turn complex technical products and services into communication that is clear, useful and persuasive.
  • Strengthen a consistent Mechnician brand across channels and regions.

Campaign strategy and execution

  • Plan and execute campaigns across email, landing pages, website content, webinars, podcasts, radio, social media, direct mail, industry events, paid media and sales outreach.
  • Connect each campaign’s audience, customer problem, message, offer, channel, sales follow-up and revenue objective.
  • Personally create campaign concepts, copy, content outlines, briefs and core assets.
  • Coordinate design, video, social, events and paid-media resources.
  • Maintain a practical campaign calendar and move campaigns from idea to launch.

HubSpot and marketing systems

  • Take hands-on ownership of HubSpot Marketing Hub.
  • Build and maintain lists, segmentation, forms, landing pages, nurture workflows, lead scoring, campaign tracking and reporting.
  • Improve the connection between marketing activity, sales follow-up, pipeline and revenue.
  • Build repeatable processes that help the team work faster and more effectively.

Sales and customer alignment

  • Partner with Sales and BDR teams on target accounts, lead quality, campaign follow-up and sales enablement.
  • Ensure major campaigns include a clear follow-up and conversion plan.
  • Review customer questions, sales conversations, objections and lost opportunities.
  • Interview customers and prospects to understand their challenges, language and buying decisions.
  • Turn customer outcomes and technical expertise into useful content and campaigns.

Measurement and revenue growth

  • Establish clear goals and revenue objectives for major campaigns.
  • Track engagement, conversion, qualified opportunities, pipeline contribution and campaign return.
  • Identify what is working, what is not working and what should change.
  • Take ownership when campaigns underperform and lead the work required to improve them.
  • Regularly demonstrate how marketing is contributing to revenue growth.

AI-enabled marketing

  • Use AI agents, reusable workflows, structured context and automation to improve research, planning, content creation, execution and reporting.
  • Build practical systems that increase the speed, quality and consistency of marketing work.
  • Help the marketing team use AI effectively while maintaining accuracy, sound judgment and brand standards.

What Success Looks Like

Success means turning customer insight and company priorities into clear positioning, coordinated campaigns and measurable revenue growth.

You will help Mechnician attract the right audiences, generate qualified opportunities, support sales conversion and create greater focus and consistency across the marketing team.

What You Bring

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in B2B brand, campaign, growth, demand-generation or integrated marketing.
  • Experience personally owning campaigns from initial insight through launch, measurement and improvement.
  • Strong practical experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub.
  • The ability to build and troubleshoot workflows, lists, forms, landing pages, campaign tracking and reporting.
  • Strong writing, editing, campaign and storytelling skills.
  • The ability to make technical or complex products clear and persuasive.
  • Experience coordinating employees, contractors, agencies or specialist partners.
  • Comfort working directly with salespeople, customers, technical experts and company leadership.
  • The confidence to challenge weak ideas and explain when something is not working.
  • Practical experience using AI agents, reusable workflows or automation to produce meaningful work.
  • A builder’s mindset: curious, resourceful, accountable and comfortable in a growing company.

A degree in marketing, communications or business is welcome but not required. Evidence of what you have built and the results it produced matters more.

Experience in industrial equipment, automotive, fleet, SaaS, distribution or another technical B2B market is an asset.

Why Join Mechnician

  • Help shape the brand and campaigns of a rapidly growing company.
  • Own meaningful work from customer insight through execution and measurement.
  • Work directly with leadership, sales, customers and technical experts.
  • Coordinate a capable team of specialist marketing resources.
  • Build modern, AI-enabled marketing systems and processes.
  • Help mechanics and service organizations keep essential equipment operating.

Culture at Mechnician

  • No corporate theatre
  • No fluff
  • Respect for real-world experience
  • Ownership and accountability
  • Support where it matters — freedom where it counts
  • Results > appearances

Final Thought

If you are the person who sees opportunities others miss, connects customer insight to strong campaigns and wants to use more of your skills than a narrowly defined marketing role allows, this could be the right fit.

You will have the opportunity to think strategically, work hands-on, use modern AI tools and help shape how a rapidly growing company goes to market.

You will not simply execute someone else’s campaign plan. You will help create it, bring it to life, measure the results and improve it.

If you want meaningful ownership, room to grow and the chance to build something that has a visible impact on revenue, we would like to hear from you.

How to Apply

Apply directly through Indeed by answering the short questions included.

You can respond in writing—or even better, include a quick 1–2 minute video (link) covering your answers or showing a campaign or agentic process you have built
