Position Overview
This role requires a motivated and committed leader with a strong background in retail sales and team management. Key Responsibilities
- Guide, motivate, and support staff to drive sales growth and improve operational efficiency
- Manage inventory levels and make informed stock control decisions
- Merchandise product
- Maintain exceptional standards in customer service, product quality, and health & safety
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
- Create and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently
- Lead employee training and ongoing development initiatives
- Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and corrective action when required
- Organize workflow and clearly communicate responsibilities to ensure smooth daily operations
- Maintain a strong, visible presence on the sales floor and support all departments as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in a comparable leadership role (retail preferred)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and stabilize a team
- Proven ability to multitask, delegate effectively, and follow through
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and familiarity with computer networks
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and product knowledge
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 30 lbs, extended standing and walking, climbing, kneeling, and crouching
