Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Cashier and Customer Service Associate to join our retail team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, handling transactions accurately, and creating a welcoming environment for all shoppers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and have a passion for assisting customers. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or technical sales are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries in a courteous manner
  • Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform accurate cash handling procedures
  • Upsell products and promote ongoing promotions to increase sales
  • Conduct product demos when applicable, especially for technology or new merchandise
  • Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure product availability
  • Provide information about products, services, and store policies to customers
  • Manage phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized checkout area
  • Support team members with additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth store operations

Experience

  • Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
  • Technical sales experience or familiarity with product demos is a plus
  • Multilingual or bilingual skills (English required) to serve diverse customer bases effectively
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
