Full job description

Cambria Design Build Ltd. is a project-management-driven General Contractor with 30+ years delivering fast-paced commercial interior renovations, retail fit-outs, mall store fit-outs, franchise rollouts, and airport projects. We are hiring an experienced Construction Site Supervisor to lead retail, restaurant/QSR, and commercial interior fit-out projects across multiple regions.

About the Role

You will be the on-site leader responsible for coordinating all skilled trades on a project, driving schedules, enforcing COR® safety, and ensuring high-quality delivery on commercial interior projects. This role is not a trade-level position — we're looking for a supervisor who oversees and coordinates the full trade scope of a project.

This role also includes airport environment projects — service work, interior fit-outs, and restaurant/kiosk builds — which require experience working within secured/restricted-access sites and airport authority compliance requirements.

Night shifts, travel, and out-of-province assignments are a core part of this role.

This role is not suited to candidates whose supervisory experience is limited to residential or condominium interior work (inside the building envelope). We are looking for candidates with experience in the general commercial contracting / project management firm environment.

What You'll Do

  • Lead day-to-day site operations for interior/exterior store renovations, mall store fit-outs, and quick-serve restaurant projects (ground-up and interior fit-out)
  • Lead airport interior fit-outs, service work, and kiosk/restaurant builds within secured airport environments
  • Supervise all trades on-site, manage schedules, and maintain site documentation
  • Coordinate work in high-security commercial environments
  • Enforce COR® and OH&S compliance
  • Travel regularly and work flexible hours — including night shifts — as project schedules demand, within the GTA and surrounding area, across Ontario, and out of province as required

What You Bring

  • 5+ years as a Site Supervisor with a General Contractor in a project management firm environment
  • Proven experience in retail/QSR commercial interiors — interior/exterior store renovations, mall store fit-outs, and quick-serve restaurant projects
  • Experience supervising in high-security commercial environments; experience within secured/restricted-access sites such as airports is a strong asset
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise multiple trades across the full scope of a project (not single-trade supervisory experience)
  • Strong understanding of drawings, sequencing, and commercial construction methods
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Procore (required)

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • COR®-driven, safety-first culture
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Team-focused, respectful work environment

Application Requirements

  • List your last 5 projects and your role/responsibilities in each
  • Confirm availability for night work and travel
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to obtain police clearance

Preferred Certifications (Assets)
Working at Heights, First Aid, WHMIS (within the last calendar year), Health & Safety Awareness in 5 Steps, Basics of Supervision. Training or re-training may be available upon agreement.

Vacancy Statement: This posting is for a new position.
