Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Assistant or our retail team and oversee daily operations at gas station in WINDERMERE TOWN. A Retail Store Assistant/Cashier is responsible for delivering excellent customer service while handling daily store operations at a gas station and convenience store. This role includes processing transactions, maintaining store cleanliness, restocking products, and ensuring a safe and efficient environment for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service & Sales, Cash Handling & Transactions, Fuel Station Operations, Store Maintenance, Safety & Compliance.
  • Oversee daily store operations, including cash handling, POS transactions, inventory management, and merchandising.
  • Implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized store environment.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail sales, store management, or sales management with supervising experience MANDATORY.
  • Willing to relocate in WINDERMERE town.
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and basic math skills.
  • Knowledge of merchandising, pricing strategies, marketing techniques, and administrative processes such as budgeting and training & development.
  • Demonstrated ability in negotiation, customer service excellence, cash handling, and phone etiquette.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently in a dynamic retail environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.25-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 44.0 per week
