Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook/Supervisor to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient preparation and presentation of high-quality food while supervising kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong food preparation skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering excellent food service. Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including supervising staff, managing workflow, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
  • Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are strictly followed in compliance with health regulations.
  • Assist in meal preparation during busy periods to support team efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste.
  • Train and mentor new kitchen staff, promoting a positive team environment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols.
  • Serve as a point of contact for resolving operational issues and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely service.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food service, including cooking, food preparation, and meal assembly within a restaurant or food industry setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, handling procedures, and sanitation practices.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a kitchen environment is preferred.
  • Excellent serving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
