Full job description

Availability to work evenings and weekends is necessary. The right applicants must be positive, enthusiastic, responsible, motivated, energetic and friendly. Hard working individual that is knowledgeable & passionate about customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:

  • MUST have at least 1 year of cash register experience.
  • Following operational procedures and policies for customer service and cash handling.
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers inquiries as well as promote sales by assisting and offering promotions and suggestions in a friendly way.
  • Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
  • Communicate professionally in person, Taking orders correctly and fulfill accurately.
  • Setting and maintaining attractive pastries display, ensure store appearance is clean and presentable at all times. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, coffee station, counters and tables.
  • Ability to stand for 6-8 hours shifts, ability to lift 15 lbs when required and able work in busy high pace bakery/café environment.
  • Contribute to positive team environment, work well individually and as part of a team
  • Must be punctual, consistent and proficient skills to communicate in the English language.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

Education:

  • Secondary School (required)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Food Handler Certification (preferred)
