- Ensure compliance with organizational bylaws, provincial and national sport regulations, and legal requirements.
Financial Management and Operational Oversight
- Oversee budgets, financials, reporting and funding, ensuring transparency and control of expenditures within the organization.
- Strong financial, operational, and governance knowledge, including policy development and implementation.
Membership and Stakeholder Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Gymnastics Newfoundland and Labrador (GNL), other clubs, sponsors, parents, members, and community organizations.
Human Resources
- Foster a positive, inclusive, collaborative and high-performing workplace culture that recruits, retains, and supports quality staff.
- Support the professional development and leadership growth of staff and volunteers.
Office Management and Administration
- Oversee office operations, contracts, insurance, inventory, and organizational assets to ensure effective administrative systems, policies and procedures are in place.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Recreation Management or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience
- 7-10+ years’ leadership experience, preferably in non-profit, sport-related or community organizations.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams and building an effective and respectful workplace.
- Strong skills in budgeting, payroll and financial management.
- Experience with program management and event coordination.
- Fundraising experience, including grants and sponsorships.
- Passion for sport, physical literacy, and working in child and youth centered environments.
- Proficiency in the full suite of Microsoft Office programs.
- Knowledge of gymnastics or amateur sport is considered an asset.
Why Join Campia?
- Make a meaningful impact on children, youth, and families across Newfoundland and Labrador
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience
- 3 weeks’ vacation to start
- Health, Dental and wellness benefits
- RRSP match plan
- Opportunity to shape the future of gymnastics in the province
