Qualifications

  • Experience in retirement living is an asset.
  • Building Environmental Systems diploma or equivalent approved related experience.
  • Minimum 3 years management experience in long-term care or retirement homes

(preferred).

  • Knowledge/training/experience with HVAC, building management systems, electrical

distribution, fire alarm/sprinkler systems, generators, and resident call systems.

  • Computer skills including Excel/Word/Outlook.
  • Ability to read/write English and communicate instructions.
  • Empathy for seniors; strong communication with residents and families.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a budget
