Full job description

Northumberland's Leading Real Estate Team seeks a part time staging assistant. If you’re looking to flex your interior design talents this might be the opportunity for you!

The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills and be able to bring the design plan to life in our clients homes. Applicants should possess good interpersonal and communication skills and have a passion for interior design. In addition, you must have the ability to work independently, be a team player, a creative problem solver, and take initiative when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of staging jobs.
  • Prepare and pack items in advance of staging days.
  • Under the direction of the Lead Stager, assist with the delivery and installation in clients homes. This includes unpacking and placing décor, moving furnishings, making beds, hanging art, light cleaning as needed.
  • Proactively contribute to the ongoing development of the Team’s staging warehouse through thoughtful organization, cleaning and assembly/unpacking of purchased items, being mindful of workplace safety, and implementing recommended areas for improvement.
  • Participate and provide recommendations for scheduled Team inventory shopping days and online sales.

Qualifications:

  • Punctual and professional in all interactions with the team and clients.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous staging experience or interior design training is an asset. On the job training can be provided, along with detailed direction from the Lead Stager.
  • Light furniture relocation and moving of supplies will be required

Job Details:

  • Part-time, 2-3 days per week. 4-5 hours per day
  • Typically work day between 9.00am and 2.00pm
