Full job description

Overview

Join our team as a Quality Control Inspector and become a vital part of our manufacturing team! In this role, you will be responsible for incoming, in process and final inspection of manufactured parts.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision tools such as calipers and measurement devices.
  • Perform detailed and documented quality checks at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly, log NCRs, reinspect any non conforming parts and submit concession/deviation requests if applicable
  • create inspection templates
  • review relevant quality documents for accuracy
  • Support quality management initiatives by participating in audits, root cause analysis, and process improvements.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing setting in quality control measures
  • Ability to demonstrate adequate use and interpretation of measurement tools, including but not limited to gauges, calipers, micrometers
  • ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints
  • General knowledge of quality management standards, including ISO9001:2015 and CSA N299.3-16
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills and the ability to read, speak and understand english
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to operate a coordinate measuring machine is an asset - training is available

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
