Full job description

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with carriers and the warehouse.
  • Place purchase orders with Chinese and local suppliers.
  • Follow up with suppliers on production schedules, order status, and delivery timelines.
  • Communicate with Chinese suppliers to track orders and shipments.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation companies.
  • Prepare shipping labels, customs documentation, and packing slips.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with purchasing.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding lead times, product availability, and returns.
  • Handle returns and resolve logistics-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate logistics and purchasing records.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (French is a strong asset).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, purchasing, or supply chain coordination.
  • Experience purchasing products from Chinese and local Canadian suppliers.
  • Experience coordinating import shipments from China, including working with freight forwarders and customs documentation.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, ERP/inventory systems, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and reliable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
